- Visualise – Envisage yourself doing well in your game, whether it’s shooting goals or making great passes. Play it over in your mind as you prepare for your game. The more you think about it before the event, the less you need to think about it during the heat of the moment.
- Relax - Try meditating, or just doing deep breathing exercises . Close your eyes and try to clear your mind. Go for a walk outside, take a nap, read a book, or do some quiet activity to get your mind on the right track. Keep your mind at ease, and try not to let anyone upset you.
